Contributions to the Analysis of the Exothermic-Mechanical Phenomenon in Mass Concrete

Abstract
This paper reports advancements achieved by ELETROBRAS-FURNAS over 15 years in mass concrete: laboratory tests, emblematic project case studies, and computational modeling from R&D projects and doctoral research at the University of Brasília (UnB). Topics include thermo-chemical coupling, viscoelastic aging models in finite element software, and generalized analytical solutions for temperature fields in slabs, cylinders and post-cooling scenarios.
