Mechanical validation
Support for reproducing the validation cases presented in the reference article. Modeling benchmarks with analytical solutions are essential for anyone using commercial finite-element software who needs to confirm correct use, or for anyone validating their own scripts: the same , the same histories, the same geometries as in the article — to reproduce, compare, and move forward.
Reference article: Part I — thermal stresses and creep with aging · DOI 10.70271/rirc.v1n2a007
Package and license: Python code irc-creep for members; CSVs and figures for each case are public. Download and terms of use →
Shared material (Itumbiara): the creep compliance and the Kelvin spectrum enter several cases with aging. Do not mix with the Zocher/SLS material of the cases without aging. Open Itumbiara material →
Validation cases
Each card opens the page for a single case: description, sketch, data table, input and output files. The CSV overlay is only on the restrained slab.
No aging — Zocher / SLS
With aging — plane strain
Separable thermal fields
Torsion
Torsion — held twistConstant φ/L; CSVs of τ on cuts and in the field.
Cyclic torsion / G*Harmonic twist at z0=3 and 28 d; CSVs and G* metrics.
Slabs
Free slab under hydrationL = 1.5 m; non-separable T field; public T and σ CSVs.
Restrained slab (foundation)L = 3 m, Hill generation; Zhu vs incremental. CSV overlay (subscribers).
